Unify Co-Op Local Community Clubs
Creating Community, Local Tourism, and Memorable Adventures
Welcome to the Unify Community Clubs, a vibrant network of community-driven groups dedicated to exploring the diverse outdoor activities Kentucky has to offer. We are a project of the UNIFY CO-OP, being located at the Indian Fort Outpost, and we will partner with local businesses to create inclusive spaces for individuals to connect with nature and each other.
Initial Vision of the Unify Local Clubs
At the Unify Cooperative we believe in the power of community and the transformative benefits of spending time outdoors. Our vision is to build a thriving network of outdoor enthusiasts who share a passion for healthy lifestyles, environmental stewardship, and the unique beauty of Kentucky. Through our clubs, we aim to foster a sense of belonging, inspire personal growth, and create lasting memories.
Club Structures
Each of the UNIFY Clubs are focused on a specific activity, led by local experts, advocates, and enthusiasts who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience. Our current clubs include:
Berea Biking Club: Sponsored by GOKY Bike Shop in Berea.
Owsley Fork Fishing Club: Sponsored by Local Fishing Shop in Big Hill.
Indian Fort Hiking Club: Sponsored by Indian Fort Outpost.
Lake Reba Kayaking Club: Sponsored by Lake Reba Watersports in Richmond.
We are constantly expanding our offerings and welcome suggestions for new clubs based on community interest. Potential future clubs include a Running Club and a Gardening Club, both of which could be based at the Indian Fort Outpost.

How to Join
To join us in any one of our clubs, is also to help us occupy the Indian Fort Outpost to reclaim the national landmark property there of one of the last Transylvania Pioneers, our plan is to establish there a small park garden with a Quaker Meeting House and a six horse stable.
Just sign up as an associate member online through one of our Google Forms. We welcome individuals from a 50-mile radius, including Lexington residents. If it is not too far to drive 45 minutes for a three-hour meeting once a month or participate in one full-day activity pursuing your passions.
